We offer a range of appointments with different health care professionals, such as GPs, nurses, pharmacists or advanced care practioners (ACPs), between 8am and 6pm each weekday. All requests for an appointment will be assessed by a doctor so we can direct you to the most appropriate clinician.
Making an appointment at Dyneley House Surgery
On Monday 27th January we introduced a new appointment system. The best way to contact the practice is through the internet. This should be made through Accurx using this link https://accurx.nhs.uk/patient-initiated/B82053
If you are not able to use the internet, you can telephone the practice and one of our care navigators will complete the form with you. If you do telephone the practice, there may be a long wait for your call to be answered. Rather than waiting on the telephone we recommend that you request a callback – your place in the queue will be maintained and you will be contacted at the same time as if you had remained on the line.
In order to prioritise appointments and home visits we will not deal with general enquiries until 11am.
Please do not make urgent appointments by coming to reception unless you have communication difficulties using Accurx or the phone.
When we are closed
NHS 111
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery opens.
Emergency
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
